Classroom Thought: Week 8 Positive Role-Models
Describe someone in your life who is a positive role-model? Reflect on what makes him/her a positive-role model? Are there any specific characteristics you hope to implement into your own life?

1 Comment Taylor2/28/2016 04:32:23 pm I consider NBA player Tim Duncan to be a positive role-model in my life. He is a 5 time NBA Champion but he still remains humble throughout his career. He is a great leader on and off the floor to his teammates. He is also willing to sacrifice and adapt his game if it means more success for him and his teammates. For example, he took a pay cut in his salary so the team would have more room in there salary cap. This allowed the San Antonio Spurs to bring in more key players. I hope when I become a special education teacher, I will be able to willingly adapt with the same flexibility that Duncan has shown me. I never want to forget what or who helped put me in my place and will continue to work hard and get better at what I do everyday.
